The Penn State College of Medicine has a number of scholarships available to assist students seeking study abroad opportunities. Even though trips often occur to underdeveloped countries where the cost of living is lower, a month-long trip may easily accrue to $2,500 to $3,000 per person, if not more.
Below is a list of scholarship opportunities available to medical students. Scholarship applications are distributed in the spring and in the fall. For additional details, please contact Tamika Washington, Assistant Director of Global Health Center, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
