Student Veterans of America (SVA) is a national nonprofit organization with a network of 1,500 on-campus chapters in all 50 states and four countries representing more than 750,000 student veterans, and is dedicated to addressing the needs and concerns of American military veterans in higher education. The SVA chapter at Penn State College of Medicine is committed to providing resources, network support and advocacy to student veterans to facilitate campus-to-career transition. In collaboration with the Military Medicine Interest Group, SVA organizes on-campus and community outreach activities to promote military and veteran awareness.
