The various expenses associated with medical school should not be a barrier to any medical student's academic success. Many students are graduating from medical school owing tens, and often, hundreds of thousands of dollars at extremely high interest rates. Sadly, many students are living loan check to loan check, do not have family to help them financially, and often do not have the resources needed to purchase suitable shoes and clothing for their clerkships or suits for interviews and conferences. Our goal is to help lessen the financial burden of obtaining professional attire for the clinical environment. Physicians and community members donate threads, such as clothing and accessories, to help lessen the financial burden of obtaining professional attire for the clinical environment. We hope to help foster a system of support between faculty, medical students, and the community at large. Additionally, we hope to provide lectures/panels on professionalism, interview/conference etiquette, and finance related topics.
