    Air: The closest airport to campus is Harrisburg International Airport (MDT).  Larger airports about two hours away include Philadelphia (PHI) and Washington (BWIDullesReagan).

    Train: The closest Amtrak station is in Middletown, PA.  Other nearby stations include Elizabethtown and Harrisburg.  All are within 13 miles of campus.

    Car: Driving directions

  • Faculty will receive details about attendance at Commencement in early 2019 from the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs. You must RSVP and complete the regalia rental form that will be sent with that email.

    Regalia Orders

    Faculty will have the option to purchase or rent their regalia for the ceremony.

    Instructions

    Instructions for the ceremony will be sent via email to all faculty participants.

  • Graduation Attendance

    Medical students: University Policy requires each degree candidate to be present at graduation exercises to receive the diploma in person unless excused by the Dean and University Records Officer.

    Graduate students: Students must notify the University of their intent to graduate via the Penn State University Registrar.

    Physician Assistant students: It is the program’s expectation that each student will be present at graduation exercises to receive the diploma in person unless excused by the Program Director Chris Bruce.

    Regalia Orders

    In order to participate in the ceremony, all graduates must wear a tam/cap and tassel, gown and hood.  Jostens is the college’s contracted vendor for regalia. Place an online order directly with them at the Jostens website.

    Announcements

    If needed, graduates may purchase printed graduation announcements via the Jostens website.

    Graduation Photos

    All pictures related to graduation weekend including the Military Commissioning, Commencement Awards, Commencement Ceremony and class pictures will be available for download the week following the ceremony.
