Medical students: University Policy requires each degree candidate to be present at graduation exercises to receive the diploma in person unless excused by the Dean and University Records Officer.
Graduate students: Students must notify the University of their intent to graduate via the Penn State University Registrar.
Physician Assistant students: It is the program’s expectation that each student will be present at graduation exercises to receive the diploma in person unless excused by the Program Director Chris Bruce.
In order to participate in the ceremony, all graduates must wear a tam/cap and tassel, gown and hood. Jostens is the college’s contracted vendor for regalia. Place an online order directly with them at the Jostens website.

If needed, graduates may purchase printed graduation announcements via the Jostens website.
All pictures related to graduation weekend including the Military Commissioning, Commencement Awards, Commencement Ceremony and class pictures will be available for download the week following the ceremony.
