Psychiatry Clerkship Expand answer

The psychiatry clerkship is a core, four-week long clinical rotation. Students have the opportunity to work with patients in various settings including adult and child inpatient services, consultation-liaison service, partial hospital and long-term structured residence programs, as well as outpatient behavioral health clinics. Learners participate in the evaluation and management of patients on each service. The clinical experience is supplemented by didactic activities such as team-based learning, case conferences and simulation exercises.
